1. What we collect
We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to run NoteLounge. This includes your email address (for authentication), your notes and content (to sync across devices), and basic usage analytics (to improve the product). We do not collect browsing history, location data, or third-party tracking data.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the NoteLounge service. We use your email for authentication and important service notifications. Your notes are stored encrypted and used only to display them to you. We do not use your content to train AI models without explicit consent.
3. End-to-end encryption
Your vault content is encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers. We use industry-standard encryption and do not have access to your vault decryption keys. This means we cannot access your passwords or secrets even if legally compelled.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (hosting, email delivery) who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. We will only disclose data to authorities when legally required and after exhausting all appeal options.
5. Your rights
